Boris Back To Work
With the Prime Minister now back in charge at 10 Downing Street, a lot of focus has turned to a possible ‘roadmap to exiting lockdown’ which opposition parties and some government MP’s are wanting to see published. In the meantime, Government support through the UK remains in place, with the recent announcement that the CBILS loans will now be 100% government backed, hoping to provide a stimulus to lenders to get money out to clients as soon as possible. The Job Retention Scheme has been extended until the 30th June and in Northern Ireland, £10,000 grants to small businesses are still being provided along with funding for those involved in the hospitality sector.
Times are difficult at the moment – but there are many positives to keep us going so please, everyone, keep safe and well!
